Quarter Inch Quilt Club

Quilt Raffle

Tickets are $2, or 7 for $10.

This beautiful quilt is made of “orphan blocks” done by Janet Coons. Janet was an accomplished seamstress who made clothes for her family, and doll clothes, which she sold at shops in the Capital District. She also made hundreds of quilts for local charities, and for Fostering Hope in Myrtle Beach. The blocks were assembled by several members of the Quarter Inch Quilt Club, and Lucy Hoerle quilted them. The quilt is being raffled off to support Janet’s two favorite organizations: The Worcester Schenevus Quarter Inch Quilt Club, and the Worcester Schenevus Library.

The drawing will be on the first day off Fall: September 23, 2023.
